It was curled up in a little crevice by the FRONT door!!

This is what greeted me,

as I walked to the shop on Thursday morning to retrieve a bag of frozen bread.

He's quite an ugly fellow and seems to have lost a claw.

I do believe this is a "crawdad" and Wednesday night's storm must have run him out of his home. He was about 3.5" long and I'm just thankful I didn't step on him!

This ain't no worm.

B sent the guys to put out mulch today and look what they found lurking in my flower bed...
