Baby Shower for Rebekah Michele

My friend, Maricela, and I hosted a baby shower for baby Rebekah and new mom Lesli. Lesli and Maricela are "sisters-in-law". :) Along, with the invitation, we sent a fabric square to each guest. We are going to put them together and make a quilt. Sound familiar?? :) I got the idea from my friend, Brooke. The girls that hosted her baby shower did the same thing and I just fell in love with it! This is the center square for Rebekah's quilt...

Have you ever seen this??!! I LOVE it! One of the guests brought it and I just thought it was too cute. If you're having a baby and you know me, you can guarantee you will see this! haha

We played a few games at the shower. This is a picture of the clothes pin game.....you can only use one hand and you have to unpin the clothes pin from the hanger and keep them in that same hand. Maricela's record is 18 clothespins!

My fave square was done by Amber...it's the one in the upper left corner. It's a picture of Sean and Rebekah....once again, if you're having a baby and you know me, you will see that again too!!! haha I love going to showers and taking everyone's great ideas! :) Don't reinvent the wheel, right?

Surprise!

We had the shower the day before Mother's Day and Maricela's daughter, Christina, came home unexpectedly. It was a very nice surprise.
