More gifts for Sean!

A special thank you to Sissy!! I didn't realize I forgot my camera and video camera until we arrived at our destination. Sissy let me borrow her camera for the day and basically for two weeks until she comes to our part of the state!! Thanks Sissy!
Baby Sean was thrown another shower this weekend so we loaded up and headed north for the big party. We went up early and got to spend some time with the family. I took the opportunity to hold Sean because I knew once we got to the church there was no way I would get to hold him. :)
By the time we were ready to leave, Billy and Raegen were snoozing...again, like father like son.

The happy family.... If you'll notice behind them is a diaper wreath I made just as I had promised in a previous blog. If you are a "regular" reader, you know what I'm talking about. :)

This "Diet Mt. Dew" can stands as evidence that Sissy is not far. It is a rarity that she will even sit one down unless it is empty. Be warned that if you are drinking a Diet Dew and you leave it unattended she will quickly confiscate it and claim it for her own (true story). ha

There she is! Sissy and Mrs. Annie preparing the goodies for the shower...

The cake! Mrs. Annie ordered it with "Welcome to the World Baby Sean" written atop, but the cake lady laughed at her and said it was cheesey and people just didn't write things like that. Not sure what she thinks people do write to infants?? "It's all downhill from here!" "This is what you get for following the bright light!" ?? haha Who knows! :) Regardless, it was delicious!

...Mrs. Sherry and Avery served it up! Avery was a big help. Once Mrs. Sherry would plate the cake, Avery would place a fork in the top- genius! Newlywed Courtney served the punch and Sarah (far left) was protecting the M&M's!

"He's so cute! Why can't we touch him? Does he REALLY need a nap?"

"Okay, you distract her and I'll sneak him out!"

"Sounds like a plan! When you hear 'the red eagle flies at night' you'll know it's time to put the plan in action!"

"Here Bridget, why don't you start opening gifts? Everyone is so anxious to see what you got!"

"Get the kid! The red eagle has flown over the koo-koo's nest!"

Joking aside, Sean did see many new faces on Saturday. Once he was "released" I do believe everyone got a chance to hold him. :)

And how could you not want to hold him? Just look at how sweet he is!

On Mrs. Sherry's SECOND time to hold him, he finally awoke. :) And I am sure that was not by any prompting from herself!

"Momma?! Has anyone seen my momma?"

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
