Do the Duggars have too many children?

Oooh,
I didn't even realize this was a controversial topic at the moment until I read MckMama's latest post. As you may have heard, the Duggars are expecting their 19th child next spring.
Recently someone made the statement,
"That's just too many kids for them to be able to spend quality time with them all."
My response was,
"If there had been fewer children in your family do you feel you would have received more attention from your parents?"
They answered with an emphatic
"No!".
ha! I think they contradicted themselves!
I enjoyed MckMama's thorough post about the "hot topic". :)

Orange for Stellan

From MckMama's post: "My friend Amy has offered to collect and post photos in a new post on my blog of anyone wearing orange for Stellan tomorrow. Email your photo to her at orangeforstellan@gmail.com and she will post them starting at 8:30 am Boston time tomorrow (when Stellan's surgery will start), and ending whenever his surgery is over (it might take about 3 hours)."

Boston bound.

It seems baby Stellan is Boston bound. His mama says, "Stellans SVT is intractable. He needs to go to Boston now for, at the very least, hands-on care by the doctors there, med adjustment and weaning, and, at the most, an ablation on Tuesday."
MckMama had hoped she would be taking her baby home today, or tomorrow at the latest, so I'm sure this news is somewhat disappointing. Click here to read more and please continue to pray for this family as you feel led.

Stellan Update

Stellan has now been in the PICU for 17 days now. There was a brief period where the SVT subsided, but it seems it is back in full force now. New plans have been made for his care.
"The earthy plan as it stands is that Stellan is scheduled for surgery, an ablation of his heart, at a hospital across the country with his new electrophysiologist."

MckMama: winds of change...

Just read MckMama's latest post and "there is change, and we are hopeful."
From what she wrote, it sounds like it's not going to be an easy fix, but at least there's a plan. praying, praying, praying for their family and so many others that find themselves in similar situations right now

Baby Stellan Update

He's only five months old today, yet he's already made it to the Eiffel Tower!
MckMama doesn't have much new news to share today.

Here's a recap:
Stellan has been in the hospital now for a week. His heart is primarily in SVT {Supra Ventricular Tachycardia} with a few episodes where it worsens {V-Tach, Ventricular Tachycardia} or thankfully, subsides for a time into NSR {Normal Sinus Rhythm}. He has also had several issues with multiple IVs so he received a central line on Friday {3/27}. It has been a rollercoaster week for their family.
Today he does not seem to be doing well. In fact, MckMama posted "This has been our baby's worst day, health wise, since coming to Children's Hospital last Sunday. "
Please continue to pray for Baby Stellan and his family, if you feel led. I may not understand what they are going through, how they are feeling, or why this has happened, but I can pray.

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
