Our little senior...
It's both sad and exciting. B and I have known him for a loooooong time! When we were dating we always hung out at his parent's house and I would ALWAYS fall asleep. Colt would always bring me a blanket and cover me up...such a sweet boy. There were a few summers that I picked him up and carried him out to church camp to work. He was always willing to do whatever needed done. Now he's all grown up, a REALLY good ball player, and has an AWESOME {pretty, smart, hard working} girlfriend...
But so does his brother!!
I guess this will be our last year of ball at this school. I've gotten some great use out of the "fan" t-shirts I made for Raegen!!! Our kiddos at church attend school elsewhere, so I'll have to whip up some new ones.
We're very excited to see what the future holds for Colt and very anxious to see where he will play college ball!

He's a baller!
A few months ago our playgroup had a "preschool PE" class and Raegen LOVED it! He enrolled in the TOT program shortly after and now has weekly practice every Monday. He LOVES the program and his coach!! I think it's safe to say the feeling is mutual and Coach is always bragging on how well Raegen can handle the ball.
Well, last Friday he got to show off his skills to a packed house...
There were no assigned "spots" on the court so I tried to "coach" him to go to the VERY FRONT!!!! but I failed miserably...as you can see below, he was on the very LAST row!!
He did such a great job {despite being on the back row} and I know I looked like a crazy momma because I was taking pics with my DSLR, iPhone, AND recording with my Canon camcorder!!!
My parents were able to make it to the exhibition as well as a LOT of our friends that love Raegen like family. He was so excited to have his own "fan club". ;)

Mom and Dad enjoyed watching Raegen perform, but they also REALLY enjoyed watching our little baller "Colt 45" play. {Colt got to watch Raegen's performance too!!}
If you missed it, mark your calendars for MAY because he'll perform again...it will be a FORTY-FIVE minute show!!
I'm so proud of him and the dedication he has to practicing. In fact, it's {sadly} more often than not that I "hide" his ball because he's driving me crazy with all the {bouncy, bouncy, BOUNCY!!!} practicing! It's quite impressive for a three {almost four} year old.

It's that time of year, again!!
Time for basketball!!!
Lynden had his first {outside of the womb} ballgame to attend a few weeks ago.
He thought it was great!! Of course, you have to realize that he was born a mere 24 hours after he attended the state high school basketball finals last year {which we won!!}, so he's a natural.
Raegen thought he was the big cat on campus by sitting behind us with his own bag of popcorn! ;)
Swoosh!!
Perfect 3-point from our little baller.
{note: this is the shirt that Raegen wore when he was EIGHTEEN months!!! ha}
We have our season passes and we're ready for another great year of basketball!!

WPS!!!!! {"woo pig sooie" for those scratching your heads}
We headed north last Friday for Saturday's Hog game against Ole Miss. As you can see below, Raegen was thrilled I let him watch his "Cars" movie...
We arrived just in time to have lunch with Robby and Michael. As we were leaving the restaurant I was tapped on the shoulder by a "friend" I met through my blog during the summer. Ironically, we live just minutes from each other and have never met in person! It was great to FINALLY meet you E.L.!! ;)
That afternoon all the boys went to play a few rounds of golf and Lynden and I stayed with April and Brody. Lynden napped {of course} and I just wished I could!! Later that afternoon we headed a few miles north to visit with Danny, Bridget, Sean, and Gracie. Gracie is getting so big and can now hold her head up on her own!

On Saturday I dressed the boy's in their Razorback best {shirts from Aunt Stacy} and we headed over to Rob and Kate's for them to spend the day with their cousins.

Then B and I met up with his accountant, Jake, and his wife, Lane, for a little tailgating before the game. Because it was an early game the food consisted of donuts, pastries, and pigs in a blanket...that's my kind of meal!!!
-1.jpg)
{this picture makes me realize HOW. SHORT. I. AM!!! gee! grow some legs!!}
We had a BLAST at the game. Jake and Lane are such great hosts. We haven't been to a Razorback football game since...well, since we've had kids!!
-1.jpg)
Our seats were rather high, but I was amazed at how well we could see...I guess there really are no bad seats at a Razorback game!
Of course I stayed in my seat for the half-time show...hello!, LOVE. marching bands!! I recorded a lot of the show on my phone, but it was taking way too long to load on the blog, so just pics...
We stayed dry the entire first half and almost through the 3rd quarter. They made an announcement that a storm was 15mi away and moving at 40mi an hour. We decided to stay just a bit longer and it wasn't five minutes and they came across with another update that the storm was just minutes away!! We decided to head back to where we parked the cars and as we were crossing the street outside the stadium we overheard them suspend play due to lightning. I think we got out just in time. A shuttle drove us back to the parking area and we took refuge in the gaw-geous! barn.

You can see more pictures here. The parking area was at Pratt Place Inn & Barn and it's really the perfect place to tailgate because if you don't want to/can't go to the game, or you have to leave early, you can always just hang out in the barn and watch the game on the dozens of flatscreens they have.
~
While we were enjoying the game, the boy's were enjoying their cousins...
Raegen and Alyssa posing as cooking cousins...

And wouldn't you know it, when we arrived back at Rob & Kate's a white van pulled in just before us. I knew IMMEDIATELY who it was!! It was the Duggar's!! They are practically "neighbors" with Robby and Katie. They were passing out campaign flyers for their older brother, John, who is running for alderman. If I lived in the area he would have my vote!
-1.jpg)
Raegen and I watch their show every week...he calls it "the kids"..."I wanna watch 'The Kids'". I was soooo that crazy, creepy fan {can't you tell?!...I'm grinning big enough for everyone!}. They were so gracious and sweet and not once did they try to call the law on me. {though I don't know if they'll ever visit Rob & Kate again...they may call ahead and make sure I'm not there!}
We had such a great time this weekend with family and new friends... and I always enjoy seeing Raegen and Lynden spend time with their cousins.

Balls, boots, and bugs
Recently we took our pre-teens and teens from church to a baseball game. It was a bit rainy that evening, but that didn't spoil our fun. We just pulled out our umbrellas...
and our rain boots!
{that's the tip of mine in the pic below! I got them last year and LURVE them!}
We sat on the berm and the kids just sprawled out.
They had plenty of room to run around and it was perfect.
Know what else was perfect?
These BBQ nachos!!!
I didn't even have time to snap a picture before B took a bite!
They were de-lish!
because they ate from every available vendor...
hot dogs,
popcorn,
sno-cones,
cotton candy,
frozen lemonade,
pretzels,
and so on...
It was my second time to leave Lynden {with a sitter}, but he did great. He's been getting plenty of mommy-time this week though. Raegen is with his Great-Aunt Bea & Great-Aunt Betty. I'm sure he's meeting family members I didn't even know existed!! We've talked to them a few times this week and it's hard to tell who's having more fun!

Hey! Batter, batter, batter!
I finally made it to one of Jordon's baseball games this year {B's been to a few, but with the pregnancy and then newborn, I just hadn't made it}.
Sadly, it was his last.
As in, his very last.
Ever.
Aunt April and Brody were able to go with us.
They were in town for Uncle Mike to play in a golf tourney with B.
Of course I asked her how much she could bench before she picked him up.
Now THAT is a lens. and a weapon.
Now THAT is a lens. and a weapon.

Jordon is staying close to home for college so hopefully he can teach the little king a thing or two about baseball.

Hannah is such a remarkable young lady. It's always refreshing to see someone her age that is faithful to church and ready and willing to serve God. So proud of her and the stand she is taking in her life and at school.

And Jordon too...it will be fun to see the Lord's plan for his life. He's such a good boy and a wonderful buddy to Raegen. Whenever he's been absent from his Sunday visits to our house he always tells Raegen how much he's missed him. And I can tell he's sincere...pretty sure he gets that from his daddy!
It's hard work watching other people run and sweat! ;)

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?
Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!
Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?
If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.
