Baby Sawyer

There are babies galore at church and more on the way...we have one due {sometimes TWO!} for March, April, May, June, and September!
There was a baby shower for first time mommy, Holly, and baby Sawyer last Monday. I whipped up some of my fave baby gifts and joined the party...
{diaper bag tag...also used on the gift...the other side says "hogs"}

This was the one splurge I had...he just HAD to have a "fancy bib". I ordered it from Etsy. Love it!

Her hostesses did a great job with her shower. The decorations were adorable...

and the cupcakes were DELICIOUS!!

I LOVED her tiara...her mom had one too!! So fun!
Holly is such a sweet person...I thought her name was Rita for the longest time because that was her name in a VBS skit!! haha She is such a good natured, fun person to be around and will be a WONDERFUL mom {even though she fed my itty bitty 10-month old never-had-sweets baby a mini cupcake...I have forgiven her...really, I have...really}.

I meant to take pics of all the gifts I made, but before I realized it I had already wrapped them all up!!!
This is definitely my fave wipe case to date. I've made similar ones before, but I REALLY like the houndstooth and the accent ribbon with white stitching. I think it is still very "manly", but cute!!

His fancy bib...

a wrap!! {of course!!! don't leave home without one!!}

and a few onesies...

Fancy Who?

Last weekend, Raegen and I attended a Fancy Nancy birthday party for his buddy EK. It was SOOOOO precious!!! My world revolves around dirt, tractors, and basketballs, but I quite enjoyed all the frou-frou!!

Check out this amazing cake!

And the cupcakes...
{I was definitely taking notes on how to glam up a girl's bday bash!!}

There was enough food to feed an army...

There was even PB&J sandwiches for the kids too! {and adults...} I made Raegen eat a small sandwich before I let him have his way with the candy buffet...

Look at that face!!

He was in candy heaven!

There was a HUGE bounce house that he thoroughly enjoyed, but when it was time for candy, play time was OVER!!!

He just sat there and munched on his bag of candy until it was time to open gifts!
I was actually glad that B didn't go to the party...I doubt he would have liked this too much...ha!! Raegen thought it was a great place to eat though. ;)

After we sang the birthday song and cut cake, it was time for GIFTS!!!

This picture cracks me up because Raegen wanted EK to know that gift was from HIM!!!

I made her a princess/superwoman cape!!

Here's my little king modeling it for the camera...

it's reversible...

I scoured the internets for a pattern I really liked {and that appeared EASY!!}...and I finally settled on this tutorial. PERFECT! I LOVE the velcro closure and the sassy collar. {a certain little boy will be getting one for his birthday too!! only it's not hot pink and purple!}
I had a great time with my little king...

Baby "Hai-Rae"

Saturday morning Amber, Maricela, and myself headed to help shower Ruth, Toby, and baby Hailey Rae. For those of you that don't know, Ruth's father was Billy and Amber's pastor while they were growing up. They are still extremely close to the family and when we travel home to see Billy's parents, we always stop in to visit with Bro. Kent and his family. Ruth married Toby who was once a member at the church Amber, Maricela, and myself all attended. So we're all connected in more than one way.
Amber, Ruth {baby Hailey Rae}, Robin {baby Lynden Rucker}, and Maricela
These ladies were dressed as twinks! I think they secretly called each other that morning!! :)
Ruth's estimated due date is 3/8, just one week after Lynden's...she and I know FOUR other people that are due within a week of our EDD's!

The shower was hosted by Toby's sister and aunt. They ordered the cake from a local bakery and it was soooo cute!!!

It was also really, REALLY good!!

Maricela and I had to leave early to finish prepping for Raegen's birthday party. Amber promised she would take lots of pictures for me, and she did!! However, her camera battery died right before Ruth got to our gifts...so here's a picture of them all wrapped up! :) Amber filled this cute basket with all kinds of goodness...diapers, wipes, clothes, and cutesy wall letters she decorated with pink and brown scrapbook paper. She did a great job and I know they'll look adorable on Hailey's nursery wall.

I'm not sure who gave this, but I thought it was adorable. It's a little girl's umbrella filled with baby items and all wrapped up in pink netting...what a great gift idea!

Maricela found the cutest little dresses and outfits for Hailey. Little girl's clothing is just too precious!

Raegen sent along some gifts for his little friend too...GermX {a must have!! :)}, a pink rattle, and this cute carseat toy.
Ruth and Toby live about 2 1/2 hours away so we probably won't get to visit when Hailey is born. Since I won't be able to place a big bird in her yard, I decided to make a wreath for her to hang on the hospital door and then on their front door at home.

Of course I made her a wrap!! :)

a wipe case {surprise, surprise, huh? ;)},

and a burp cloth. You know she'll need plenty of those!!
It was great to spend time with Ruth and Toby. Baby Hailey Rae is so blessed to be receiving such wonderful parents.

Camo Carter

Tuesday night baby Carter and his parents were showered at church. Several ladies gave a group gift to the heathen Tennessee Volunteer fan family. They registered for the diaper bag pictured below. It is available from Walmart as well as other online stores. Just to be an aggravation, I included "Go HOGS!!" on the gift tag along with all the ladies names. ;) I was unable to attend the shower because my little king was ill, but I would have loved to have seen her face when she opened this gift. :)

The following are a few Chic Little Birdee gifts I created for baby Carter. His daddy is an avid hunter and I've noticed he has quite the camo collection {diaper bag, outfits, etc.}, so I thought I would add to his stash. :)
What better way to look dignified in camo??

Raegen sent his own gift for baby Carter...a few teethers and carseat toys. :)

As crazy as I am about little boys...

this is why it would be fun to have a little girl...

Can you say
"TAL-EN-TED"?!
or
"KEY-UTE"?!
As cute as little boy clothes are, there really is nothing that compares to the cuteness of little girl clothes. Aunt Stacy can spoil my boys as much as she wants, but I have to say it's much more fun to spoil baby Izzy!!!
If you're interested in spoiling a little girl in your life, go here to view and purchase the adorable zebra print/pink pillowcase dress and here to see all the other items available from Sew Darlin'.

Party time!

Today is Ashlyn's 1st birthday party and we so wish we could be there. However, due to a conflict with a national conference we attend yearly, we will be missing it. I'm hoping to get my hands on some good pics though...with all the photographers in the fam, I'm sure that won't be a problem! :)
That said, I really hope to get a picture of her face when she opens this...

A few of us went together and got her this:
Her very first American Girl Bitty Baby and starter collection.
Isn't it precious?!?!
I can just see her toddling around with this on her back...

And of course no birthday is complete without a ChicLittleBirdee gift:
Have a wonderful party Ashlyn...we love you!!

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
