Our Big Weekend in NWA

Every time we head to NWA I tell Billy we should stop at a restuarant that boasts "model trains on 200" of suspended track". Well, this time around, we did....

I think whoever thought up this great idea, must have had kids! ha

As you can see, it was quite entertaining for Raegen.

Once we got into town, I saw this sign and just had to take a picture. Ever been to a "garage sell"? ha.

Our first stop was to see baby Sean. Oh, how he has grown since we saw him last. He is now six weeks old. What a difference 14 months makes! :)

Happy Father's Day! This was Billy's second Father's Day. Raegen wanted to help him open his gift.

"That is me, and this is you, daddy."

A little Sunday morning singing on the way to church...
We went to church with Robby and the kids on Sunday morning. Raegen didn't even notice me after we rounded the corner to the church nursery. He saw a playset with a slide and that's all he needed. :)
pre-party picture

Nothing is ever "just a game" or "just having fun" with Billy's family. This game of toss quickly turned into a competitve toss game...of course.
Happy Birthday Bridget and Happy 1st Father's Day Danny!

Raegen and Grandma...protecting themselves from the sun's harmful rays! Way to go guys!
Amber and Marc-- It's a Girl!! I got the call this past Tuesday and they will be expecting a girl in November (possibly October, huh?). :) Congrats!! I love shopping for baby girl clothes. I'll also make this prediction...whoever becomes preggers next (in the Bader-Stain fam) will have a BOY!! It seems we've got a pattern....Owen, Alyssa, Raegen, Annelise, Sean, Baby Girl Gummi Ibarra....boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl....

Like father, like son...how appropriate for Father's Day!
But I like to come down THIS way.
It's cake time....Katie's cakes are always the best and she aims to please everyone...her cakes are always half chocolate/half white-- how awesome!!

Okay, maybe just a bite, but don't tell your mom....shhhh

It doesn't take long for Raegen to get hot....as you can see from the below picture. It was a perfect day too-- nice overcast and a slight breeze. I'm not even sure he was out there an hour!

Okay, now for some real fun! Grandma got Alyssa a slip-n-slide for her birthday so of course the guys had to "man it up" by adding a few things. Water, a steep slide, a steep hillside, and plastic can really make kids fly....

If you'll notice, the slide in the below picture is green and the one in the above picture is yellow. Again, the guys thought they could make it better and traded out the slides... Seems like this one is working just fine...

This was the first (and last!-- per parent request) attempt to go down the slide on the belly...

The Birthday Girl had a good time on the slide too...

The fun didn't progress too much further and the guys decided to "improve" the slide once again...they added the old slide to the end of the new slide...
Billy's response when I told him how crazy and fun his family is..."welcome to my childhood". ha
Raegen missed all the fun because he was napping...this wasn't the first of these escapades and it's certainly not the last. My first Christmas to spend with Billy's family we had a nice deep snow. Michael had his four-wheeler with him, but we didn't have a sled. After a quick search in the shop the guys came back with an old suitcase and a rope. It worked great and we had a blast....even when Robby (driver on the 4-wheeler) ran me smack dab into a car! :)
"Catch me Aunt April!"
ZOOM!!

Now THIS is a slip-and-slide! or maybe a slide-and-slip!!!

What a great party Alyssa! We had a great time and we'll definitely bring our "suits" next year!

As we left for church Sunday afternoon, Michael was headed to a neighbor's to get a huge tarp to add yet another dimension to the slip-and-slide....and Billy told me some of the "big boys" ;) ;) got in on the fun too. Now those are some pics I'd love to see.

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
