Pool Party

Raegen went to his first pool party on the 21st. His friend Christopher just turned three, he's the same age as cousin Grif. There were lots of pools to choose from and even a sand pool! It was Raegen's first experience with sand, but it didn't take him long to figure out it doesn't taste that great. :)
This blue pool with the two slides was Raegen's favorite though he couldn't climb the slide himself.

It was a hot day, but there was lots of shade and water to keep us nice and cool.
Even the babies got a pool. Most of the kids at the party go to church together and are therefore in the nursery together...and three more are expected to join them within the next seven months! :)

What will happen if I stick this in my mouth?

Run for your life, it's alive!!

Christopher (birthday boy in front) and Ben are the oldest in the nursery at church.

What happened? Where's the water?

RUN!!!

What's all the fuss about?

Put me in coach!!

This was my attempt at a cute "kodak" moment with the boys....I have to remind myself those perfect pictures of kids are really pictures of models that are getting paid to sit still. ha

I think Raegen wanted to take this home...the car, I mean. Though he would probably love to bring Connor home too...he's a lot of fun to play with too.

Time for cake and gifts!! Aunt Amber was busy snapping pictures. She was playing double aunt duty that day. Marc (her husband) and Daniel (Christopher's dad) are brothers.

The Gutierrez family...they are expecting their second child in December. Congratulations Guts (pronounced Goots)!!

Time to party!!

What a cake!! Melissa did an EXCELLENT job on the cake. I can't believe how much detail there is. I didn't ask how long it took, but I can imagine it may have been days!! It even comes complete with a slide!

Happy Birthday to Christopher!!

Baby Ben thought he would help with the candles....

Now all these gifts are for who?? Just as Christopher started opening his gifts, Raegen planted himself between Melissa and Christopher. He wanted in on the action. Billy scooped him up and he was content to watch from afar. :)

Raegen got Christpher a backpack. When he opened it he stated, "I can't wear a backpack." haha The gift came just in time. They flew out just days later to visit Melissa's family in Honduras where her parents are missionaries. Melissa said the backpack was perfect to hold Christopher's toys for the flight.
We had a great time and best of all no one got burned!! :)

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
