Stacy and I decided to have a day of cooking, together! We usually make our meals and staples (cooked HB and chicken) separately, but thought it would be fun to do together. Plus, it's always nice to just have one big mess and someone to help you clean it up!
Miss Chef Girl Madisyn was ready to work and what a big help she was! She crushed all the crackers for my poppyseed chicken.
Ty was eager to help too...
And of course, Grif always wants on in on the action. He put on an apron too, but I never got a pic...it was too cute.
After I had been at Stacy's for about an hour, I noticed Ty's hair looked funny.
I said, "Is his hair suppose to look like that?"
Stacy, "Yes, it looks crooked when it's not brushed to one side."
(This I knew, but it didn't look like it has in the past.)
I said, "Are you sure?", as I turned Ty where Stacy could see...
No words were spoken, she simply placed her face in her hands and laughed hysterically.
When asked, "What happened Ty?!?!", he explained that while he was lying in bed, he reached his hand to his head and a big chunk of hair fell out.
He has since had a "talking to" from momma and daddy and I don't think he has any plans to repeat his behavior. The story is still unclear as to when the "festivities" took place, but it probably happened Monday or Tuesday morning. You can't blame the kid for wanting to follow in his sister's footsteps. Madisyn did the same thing when she was three (??). Of course, being the "over achiever" that she is, she took it a step further and gave her curtains in her room a nice trim too. It looked like Edward Scissorhands was her interior decorator. And she didn't have any answers either, other than "it was not me".
"Paging the Witcher kids...party in your mom's room!"
