I have Ben Hur before, but just once.

Mike and April invited us to Ben Hur for the Big Fourth weekend. It was nice to get away from cell phones and computers for a few days! :)

Raegen and Billy started the weekend with some funny faces...
That's nothing daddy....look what I can do!

Morning #1: Billy & Mike gave a hand in the kitchen for breakfast...

Excuse me, will we be eating soon?

Like death and taxes, one thing is certain...there are always dishes to wash.

Raegen enjoyed his time with Uncle Marc.
We're goin' on a trail ride....

Amber is all smiles now, but that will quickly change when she sees the intense trail we are about to enjoy... There were some spots she opted to walk down instead of ride...later in the day I opted out of a few things myself!

Big Mike and April lead the way!

These pictures are from our trip to Ben Hur last September.

As you can see, there wasn't much of a waterfall then...

There was some pretty intense rain
the night before and the morning of our trail ride...the creeks were flowing with water.
It's not really that cold...

Oh, yes it is! The expression on Amber's face says it all, but for even more evidence look at her hand...that frigid water is sending chills to even the tips of her fingers!

April thinks it's cold too!!

The guys were wanting to jump off the ledge so Amber was brave and went under all the way to see if she could touch the bottom...she could not.

Marc takes the plunge...

Mike is "the running man"...

Raegen enjoyed the cool water too...

These are a few of my favorite things.... Mike suggested we do one of his fave things and drive around on a dry creek bed....obviously with all the rain, there was nothing dry about it!

It was quite the challenge and when I had had enough, I suggested Billy drop me off on the bank and the guys "did their thing". :)

It's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt...and in this case, until somebody goes under...but wait, that makes it even better!! Mike's four-wheeler wasn't up for the challenge of "floating" and thus, Billy had to pull him out.

After our VERY intense and FUN trail ride, we enjoyed a nice, long nap! And then April introduced us to "washers". It was a lot of fun.

Raegen had lots to keep him busy...
Mike is so photogenic.

The competition continues...we were rained out of our washer "tournament" so the guys dreamed up a new game to play inside. Please do not try this at home...or at least not IN your home.

I sense a little fear from Billy??

Time for fireworks!

The guys put on quite a show for us, complete with a grand finale. Mike passed out at least a hundred sparklers and surprisingly, Raegen had a pleasant time.

Billy thought he should start Raegen at a young age and bought him his own package of snap dragons.

Time for goodbye kisses and hugs...

One last picture...

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
