Ashlyn's shabby chic room

Raegen and I visited Aunt Amber last week and were given the grand tour of Ashlyn's nursery. I wish I had had my camera because it is over the top! Her colors are purple and green, a beautiful combination and I expect it to be the next big hit in the baby girl department. Three walls are a pretty green and one wall is large vertical stripes of alternating tints of purple. The bedding is a patchwork of varying ribbons and fabrics all within the color scheme. Amber has been busy at the sewing machine too. She made Ashlyn's curtains, complete with decorative trims and bows and gave some finishing touches to the bed skirt. It's just too cute for words and I will have to get a picture to share. Marc and Amber have a little more work to do...hanging shelves, letters, etc., but it's definitely ready enough to welcome home baby Ashlyn!
