I'm a Su-vi-vah!!

No, no, no, I'm not gonna give up!! :)

Well, the big consignment sale has made it's way to town this week and I signed up to work a shift in the store and do a little marketing. In return I get to shop early...early, early too!! Last year I consigned some items so I could shop early, and it just wasn't early enough...I wanted to be first! ha.

Angela did some marketing for the company as well so she and I met yesterday at 1:45p.m. and waited our turn to shop...3p.m. And boy did I shop! I had already made up my mind I wasn't leaving until I looked at everything. I was able to find some GREAT deals on toys and clothes for Raegen. For the money I spent and the number of clothing items I got, I spent an average of $6 an item/outfit!!! You can't do that at W-M!! :) Now he's set for the winter.

I'm extremely happy about the playhouse I grabbed for a bargain. I didn't know it at the time, but after coming home and doing a little research, I've found that it's a Little Tykes "ImagineSounds" Playhouse. Click on the link to see a picture. Raegen has the older version so the colors are different, plus his is used, but I don't care!! :) I'm sure I'll post some pics of him playing with it in the coming days because when Billy unloaded it last night he literally RAN to it!

I finally made it out of the store and headed home at 6:30! I was able to find bargains for Stacy, Amber, and some friends at church too.

Here's a funny story... As Angela and I were waiting, I saw Kibbie drive through the parking lot. She was talking on her phone and looking at the line of people as she turned to go up an aisle. I waved at her and she spotted us. She had been on the phone with Jeff when she saw the line and asked, "Is there a movie theater around here?" haha...this is better than any movie! The line for the "early workers" wasn't too long and I didn't see the line for the "workers" (allowed in at 5p.m.). However, the "consignors" line (enter at 6p.m.) was super long. I know Amber said she got there 40 minutes early and she was closer to the front. I didn't stick around for the "moms to be" or "guest" pre-sale!! I went home and showed off my shopping skills to my husband. :)
