Raegen dressed as a horse for Halloween this year. This was his first year to go "trick-or-treating". Last year Halloween fell on a Wednesday and there was a special program at church for the kids. I was excited to take him to all of his "Aunts". :)
What?!?! Did you just say they're going to give me candy?? Let's go!!
and CHEETOS!! Boy, Aunt Jenn knows the way to Raegen's heart!! Everything in moderation though! :) Thank you Aunt Jenn!
Despite numerous prayers from others that Ashlyn would be born on Halloween, it didn't happen! :) I know Amber was relieved!! Thanks for the treats Aunt Amber!!
It wasn't long 'til the tricker treaters showed up...Raegen went out to socialize and after closer inspection recognized his church buddies.
(FYI Raegen did NOT eat that sucker!) :)
And then....the bus appeared!!
Panic mode...we weren't sure we'd have enough candy for the remainder of the night so we dumped the bags and gave out handfuls instead.
Here are the bus kids...they were a volleyball team in town for a tournament. Amber's fave costume was the whoopi cushion...she made sound effects, KWIM??!!
The boys got creative as it got later...they decided to hide behind the bushes and scare the trick or treaters...
Handing out candy is hard work...I brought some treats for the adults. The chocolate gremlins on the right are homemade. I got the recipe off of Target's website...super easy and super cute!
