Introducing Miss Ashlyn Mae

Amber was scheduled to be induced on Tuesday. She and Marc had to arrive at the hospital early that morning, but were excited and bright eyed by the time company began filtering in.

Amber made this "new daddy" snack basket for Marc.
I thought it was extremely thoughtful and cute!

I don't think anyone warned Amber she would have to smile for hundreds of pictures!! haha..small price to pay.

Owen came prepared...he brought a handheld game system. Raegen was quite intrigued.

Alyssa and Owen pull up a front row seat to watch a little T.V.

As 10 o'clock neared Amber's contractions were intensifying....

"Bring on the epidural anesthesia!"
Amber was happy to see this man...

A few minutes later and life was a bed of roses again...

"I'm feeling good!"

More pictures with family and friends...

Ms. Beverly brought this adorable card...I've never seen anything like it. I had to keep an eye on Raegen because he liked to make it "swing" and he's not very gentle!

Amber also brought her baby book from when she was a baby. I thought that was a really neat idea and it was fun for all the visitors to look through. She also brought pictures of Marc from when he was a kid.

As the day progressed, the guys had to entertain themselves. They thought it would be "fun" to twist the lid on the jar of peanuts as tight as they could.

Big Billy was their first victim...would he be strong enough to twist it off??

Even Marc and Mrs. Beverly found this comical! :)

waiting, waiting, waiting

One last photo before Amber is prepped for surgery...

Marc is all suited up and ready to meet his baby daughter.

And here she is! All 8lbs 10oz of her!
A few things first...

Now mommy and daddy can hold her...
(this is my absolute FAVORITE picture of all!)

YAY!! Everyone is so happy Ashlyn has arrived safe and sound. I counted 26!! people in the waiting room that were there when Ashlyn was born!! That's a lot of love!

Courtney and Mrs. Sherry were able to visit with Amber and then had to get on the road and head north to home...

Amber was able to have one visitor at a time until an hour lapsed...when we got the green light we all went to visit. She was very tired so we made it short and sweet so she could get some rest.

(there was a mix up with cameras that resulted in there being NO camera in Amber's room on Wed. morning...so we're missing a lot of pictures from Robby and his family with baby Ashlyn)

Grandma's first time holding baby Ashlyn

Aunt Bridget gets a turn too...

Pawpaw B thinks she B-EAUTIFUL!

What a doll!

Daddy and baby
Amber couldn't say enough good things about Marc...obviously he's been quite the new daddy.

YAY!! I get to hold the sweet baby girl!!

Raegen thought Ashlyn was cute, but not very entertaining. He made a picnic instead! There's always time for food.

Erica got to visit too...her baby girl is due in January.

Dear Marc and Amber:
WOW! What a head of hair! And what a beautiful baby! Loved seeing the pictures, thanks Robin. That was neat. Miss Ashlyn really got a good welcome into the world by everyone. I can't wait to see her. Amber, you looked beautiful in the pictures. And Marc, a little bit nervous....but now it was well worth all you went through. She is sooooo very sweet. Congratulations!
Love, Tomi Prowell

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
