Hittin' the slopes!

Today we hit the slopes, literally. April and I opted to give snowboarding a try and our bums touched the snow more than our boards. ;) It took a few tumbles and a few tears, but we've finally gotten the hang of it. We're taking the day off tomorrow to recover and pick back up on Wednesday.

The guys were great coaches and Mike proved to be a superb photographer!

April near the top of the mountain...still trying to figure out how it all works. She and Mike took a wrong turn on the trail and ended up skiing for about two hours non-stop (at least!). Needless to say, when they returned to the room she was spent...what a trooper!

I wanted to kiss the ground when we were done! Two trips down the mountain and I was ready to call it a day. Wednesday will be better because I've finally got it all figured out...or at least enough to keep me up! I'm hoping I can at least stay out of the trees next time.

I went back to the condo to join April and the guys went back for more...

We'll definitely take more pictures of the guys on our next run down the mountain.
