We are here!! :)

Mike, April, Billy, and myself have traveled a good ways and are now in Colorado for a ski vacation. Yay!!

Here's a glimpse at our trip so far...

Billy leads the way as we pull out of NWA.

Mike drove for the majority of the trip. He left his glasses at home and had to borrow my "bedazzled" shades... :)

The guys were clever enough to bring the XBox and April and I enjoyed playing Monopoly. It didn't take long and the guys wanted in on the fun...

Of course that left April and myself to navigate!

The drive went by quickly (thanks to the XBox!). Kansas had acres and acres of these wind turbines...

We came in to Denver around 8p.m. last night. We quickly spotted some restaurants right off the interstate....two GPS devices, 30 minutes, and several wrong turns later we found our destination!! Thankfully we were able to laugh at it all...though we were starving!

We had full bellies and full smiles as we left.

We soon found a place to stay and settled in for the night. This morning as we dressed for church, Billy walked to Super Target (wish we had one of those at home!!) and brought back these...

What a great start to any day!!

After church we headed on to our destination (approx. an hour away). The temperature quickly dropped and soon there were frozen lakes and snow everywhere. Take a look at this pic....would you be brave enough to drive out on a frozen lake and do a little fishing??

Time to fill our bellies....Chipotle Mexican Grill was a great choice!
