I wanted to give Stacy something special for her 30th birthday. I know her proudest accomplishment is being a mom so I contacted a lady on Etsy and had her make Stacy a handstamped necklace with all of the children's names on it.
The inside of the center disc reads "Psalm 127:3-5";
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
To celebrate we took the kids to the nature center in Jonesboro. Dad went with us last year when we visited and sadly I've never found my SD card with all my pics from that trip!! It was VERY cold on our last trip, but the sun was shining for this one!
We visited the outdoor nature trail first thing...it was our attempt to beat the heat!
Inside there were lots of fun things for the kids to do...
look at slithering reptiles...
try on some duck hunting gear...
and shoot a gun!
Okay, it wasn't real, but you couldn't tell by its weight!
It was an interactive game where you could choose to hunt deer, geese, duck, etc. We had a great time and would like to visit more of the nature centers in Arkansas...afterall, they're FREE!
