A Whale of a Time

On Saturday we attended the 2nd birthday party of Raegen's friend, Jayson. His mama is the best party planner and always blows me away with her invitations and cakes.
It was a swimming party and there were slips, and slides, and pools galore!!
Here's the birthday boy himself...

Even the babies enjoyed a dip in the pool...

Big brother Christopher proved to be quite the fisherman!

Raegen enjoyed a few trips down the inflatable slide as well, though he preferred to hog a ball and sit in the kiddie pool.

Everything was perfect, the weather, the water, the fun...and then the guns came out...

but it was so cute!!

How many kids can go down a mini slide at once?

Ready or not!!

Could you give me a push?

Eventually the adults grew hungry and we talked the kids into drying off and coming inside to eat and sing "Happy Birthday". So now, the moment you've all been waiting for...
TA-DAAA!!!!

Is that not adorable?!

Time for gifts!
We made Jayson a backpack so he can be a big boy and his mama can say goodbye to the diaper bag! :)

Raegen was more interested in cake and ice cream than gifts...

I think this picture speaks volumes for parents everywhere...

Why do we even bother with what's IN the box?? :)

It's pinata time! Aunt Amber and Ashlyn got a front row seat!

The words, "there is candy inside", is all Raegen needed to know...

His feet were firmly planted and he was not playing around!! He meant business.

When it wasn't his turn he enjoyed helping Mr. Daniel lift and lower the pinata...

Ashlyn even got a whack at the shark!
After all the little kids had a couple turns we turned it over to the big kids and it was demolished within minutes. What a fun party.

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
