Early last week we headed south to visit Raegen's great-grandparents. Grandma Stain was headed down for a visit so we all went together. It's about a two hour drive so Raegen was spent by the time we got there and ready for some food! Each time we visit we try a different restaurant and I think we found our fave on this trip. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was even better. Super friendly folks and super flavorful food...we'll definitely be back.
We stopped by Great-Grandma Bonnie's first. Raegen wasn't too sure about the cats and repeatedly shook his finger and said, "No, no!" just like his Grandma Stain taught him to do. haha
Great-Grandma pulled out some old "treasures" (books, pictures, etc.) for us to look through. Raegen made sure he was near in case anyone had any questions.
Time to go to Great-Grandpa's...here we come!
At this visit, Raegen was drawn to the dog statue and the Indian statue that Grandpa has in his living room. He just liked to go up and touch them. He was also drawn to that golf club, but it was "off limits"...no sense in someone getting a black eye from a toddler with a club!
(f.y.i.- the can was not open, he found it in her purse)
This was actually Raegen's drink of choice for the day...Great-Grandpa's water jug. He'd take a sip then play some, then go back for another sip...it was so cute. One time he snuck over for a sip and before we realized it, he had the jug straight up and ...you guessed it....the ice cold water came rushing out all over him. Raegen was in shock, of course, and looked at Grandpa as if saying, "Why did you do that to me?"
