Another finished project...

I've had this dress on my "to do" list for at least two months. I had my sewing machine out today to work on blocks for Ashlyn's quilt so I thought I might as well get this dress started. It's a simple "pillow case dress". I've seen a few lately and just thought they were super cute and looked easy to make. I was able to make this one in about 30 minutes. There are numerous tutorials online with great step-by-step instructions, but if you've had a little sewing experience you can pretty much make it up as you go along. I had hoped to add a "Razorback" embellishment, but have had no luck in finding one I like. I'm going to put it in the upcoming children's consignment sale and see if it sells! I've already got a few girls in mind that I can make additional dresses for...too bad summer's almost over!
