These shoes are made for running...

Now that Kibbie is a full-time "Arkansan", we've developed a running schedule and I am proud to say that I've done well this week. She has a routine of walking for five minutes and then jogging for twenty-five. That works for me, though the past week I've been asking for a minute-by-minute countdown around the last three minutes of running...I think her watch runs slow. ;)
This morning I did NOT want to get out of bed. I was hoping Kibbie would text and say she couldn't make it, but she didn't. When we arrived at the walking trail I wanted to quit, quit, QUIT from the beginning...emphasis on QUIT! I felt like a piece of lead, a 2-ton brick, just a big slab of concrete. At the half-way point I wanted to say, "I'm done, I'm walking the rest." But for reasons I can't explain, I just kept on running. Then my goal was to not look at my watch until we were at our typical "end of running" point. When we made it there, I decided I wanted to keep running until we reached the end of the trail. We made it! It was our best run yet...and to think I wanted to stay home and miss it! The trail has distance markers and today we "ran" at least two miles...possibly 2 1/4 mi. It feels really nice to get outside and be active. We're hoping we'll have a mild winter and be able to run outside for the most of it...we would both rather be outside than inside running in circles.
Best of all, Raegen is starting to enjoy the run too and that just makes it easier on everyone!

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
