Angela and I co-hosted Keisha's Wedding Shower on Saturday. We decided to throw her a "Pampered Bride" shower and help her stock her kitchen with all their fancy gadgets and gizmos! Angela came over on Friday to help prepare foods for the shower.
Here she is slicing bread that we baked in the PC heart-shaped bread tube.
And Maricela came over and made the tuna "chicken" salad...and that's a whole other story...
When guests arrived they were asked to sign an apron for Keisha.
It was kind of hard to come up with something on the spot, but everyone did...eventually... :)
Cyndia, the PC consultant, presented Keisha with the well-wishes apron, a bouquet of roses and bamboo spoon set, and a lovely veil...
Keisha is the "Pampered" Bride
Let the party begin! Time for an apron and clean hands!
Crystal was a little concerned she wouldn't be able to dump the cheese spread out of the tub like a pro, but she did great! As you can see, Amber (errr, "Pamela") had the situation under control...she was keeping a close eye on her.
What can I say...cooking makes me excited!!!
Our main dish we created was classic deli wraps. They were super easy to make and tasted great. We also made a dessert...chocolate velvet cake!
The cake was cooked in the microwave so while we waited, Cyndia had a few games for us to play. For one of the games she gave us a square piece of cardstock and instructed us to create a wedding cake. Keisha got to be the judge...
