Home at Last

Yay! I made it home today....safe and sound. Thank the good Lord!! I crossed 18 bridges between Stacy's and mom and dad's and another 10 between their house and mine. The roads were clear enough to drive on and most everyone used caution. I only saw one vehicle in the ditch...it was in the west bound ditch, headed east.
We made the most of our time together. Our big project to tackle was Christmas candy. We made haystacks,
divinity,
and pralines (my fave!).
The kids had a good time too...
"More, please!"

It seems we had dinner just in time because as we were cleaning up the power went out. Here we are sitting around in the dark....

and again, with no camera flash...

Never one to sit around with nothing to do, we loaded up and went to town...where there was power! We stopped at Sonic for a snack and drinks.

Not wanting to chance the road conditions on Tuesday, I opted to stay another day and night with Stacy. It's a good thing I took my sewing basket because I finished a LOT of my Christmas projects. Here's a sneak peak...

This was Raegen this morning...

After breakfast we loaded up and headed west.

We stopped by to check on dad. He's terribly sick and not feeling well. At least he didn't have to worry about sub work...the school was closed again today. I also took him a third of the candy we made...afterall, he is the reason we made it!!
Here's another picture of his adorable barnyard sleigh...

Home at last!!

And Frosty was there to welcome us too!

It is always good to be home! That candy looks great, especially the pralines. Would you mind sharing the recipe?

Merry Christmas!

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
