The kids were super excited to go to the Holiday of Lights parade...especially since Grandaddy had a float!!
We found the perfect parking spot at the end of the route, just across from Berryhill park. Not a bad view! :)
We played around with our new cameras trying to figure out the perfect settings for the perfect night shots...needless to say, Stacy had no problem with hers. As they say with most pictures, it's not the camera, it's the photographer!
I still have some playing to do with mine...I'm hoping Stacy will post more pics on her blog of the parade because she really got some great shots.
Griff and Madisyn picked up the candy as soon as it was tossed! They even had strangers helping them pick it up.
Madisyn really raked in the candy! Not bad for the end of the route...dad said kids had Wal-Mart sacks full of candy at the start of the route.
We drove over to dad's school so he could disassemble parts of the float and drive it home. This is the tree he made that is at the school. It's huge!! It shows up really well from the freeway.
Madisyn and Griff had a lot of fun playing in the sleigh. He made it to where it can be pulled behind a four wheeler in the snow!! I know where I'm headed if it starts snowing! :)
The babies had to stay in the warm van, but Aunt Stacy kept them giggling.
Colt had a tournament he was playing in town so we headed over to the other high school to catch the game. We got there at half-time and we could tell by the close score that it would be an interesting second half.

Get 'em Colt!
Maricela was desperately needing out of the house (she had foot surgery on Thurs.) so she was at the game too.
54-55...29 seconds left...can we pull it out?!?!
With seconds left, the crowd stands to their feet....
