Stacy needed someone to watch the kids on Saturday so Raegen and I went over on Friday and just made a weekend of it! :) She and I had big plans to sew, sew, sew!!! Sew we did not. Cut out patterns and fabric we did! At least we got to check some things off our list.
Stacy is a fabulous cook and made a delicious!!! soup....can't remember the name, but I'll definitely get the recipe from her and post it.
Griff and Rae-Rae were dining buddies.
As usual Raegen preferred the bread part of his supper the most...in fact, he took (or tried to take!) everyone's bread at some point.
Congrats Stacy on your early Christmas gift, a Canon Rebel! She's been wanting a DSLR for a few years now (she's the reason I've ever heard of such!) and she finally got her wish. I think she would say it was worth the wait. We had a lot of fun playing with our cameras this weekend too.
Stacy thought it would be fun to make a late night run to get ice cream. We put jammies on the tots and jumped in the van....Griff thought he'd help by putting Ben's boots on.
Griff thought he was too big for jammies in town so he took off his jammies and put on his big boy clothes.
It took a while to make three sundaes so the big kids wandered up front while we waited. The server at the window thought we were a bunch of crazies with our cameras and bright flashes!
The kids enjoyed riding around and looking at Christmas lights.
This was the usual this weekend....Griff chasing Raegen...Raegen chasing Griff...each wanting what the other had.

I made lunch for the kiddos on Saturday. I was looking for a baking stone to put in the oven and was aghast when I looked and couldn't find one. What?! Stacy Witcher, Miss PC herself, doesn't own a PC bar pan? All I could find was this metal one....at least at first glance I thought it was metal! Gee! Do you think she uses this EVER?!?! hahaha...now that's a "seasoned" stone!
We had a fun Saturday together, but the kids were ecstatic when Stacy's pulled in the drive....they knew we were headed to the parade!
