belly baby

For fear of SIDS, I never let Raegen sleep on his belly.
As an infant he absolutely hated tummy time and I had all but given up hope that he would ever crawl...choosing instead to roll everywhere.
He finally walked at 14 months.
With Lynden, I have chosen to let him sleep on his belly during his day time naps.

And boy does he sleep!
I am always close by and monitor his breathing frequently.

He sleeps so well and peacefully. It is so precious.
I truly believe he could sleep all night long if I placed him on his belly, but I'm just not comfortable doing that.

There are monitors available that detect movement and sound an alarm if movement stops.
Of course these monitors do not prevent SIDS, but they can help notify parents that their baby has slowed or stopped breathing and give them time to intervene.

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
