Night Skiing

Finally! April and I found the perfect slope today. It was short and filled with ski instructors. We listened in on their instructions and picked up some great tips. We returned to a similar area this evening to practice our turns. Mike and Billy were eager to try snowboarding so we swapped boots and rode the gondola up the mountain...their philosophy, "by the time you get down the mountain, you'll know how to snowboard!" :)

Here they are moments before taking the plunge...they kept saying, "why are we doing this?" hahaha!!

While we waited for them to make it down I took advantage of having on Mike's ski boots and tried the whole "ski on each leg" technique. :) It was definitely different, but I really liked it. It obviously seems more natural and there are not balance issues like with a snowboard.

An hour after we dropped them on the top of the mountain, we spotted them coming down.

They said they would have made it sooner, but had to take a few "breaks"....April and I know all too well what they mean!

Unfortunately a punk sprayed the guys while they were taking a "break" so they weren't in a cheery mood when they arrived. They were happy to learn ski patrol had already been alerted of the behavior (alerted means one big bad dude was about to beat one of the punks to a pulp because it seems he sprayed his wife who was injured on the mountain and his friend starting yelling "SKI PATROL!!!"). April and I felt like we were watching an episode of COPS. It was quite intense to say the least. :)

Sugar and Spice or Snakes and Snails?

Poll has closed. It's a BOY!!!

Take the poll located on the right side of the screen. Will we be having another baby boy or a baby girl? What do you think?

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.

Is baby #3 a boy or a girl?
