This week at cake class we worked with royal icing and colorflow. The birds were made with colorflow and were my first attempt. I am not happy with how they turned out so I'll be practicing a few more to use for my final cake.
We used the royal icing {it's VERY stiff} to make flowers and leaves. The whole class was a fan of the leaf and many of us would like to make a "leaf" cake. Can you say "easy"??
Our class has all the same people from course1 so we have a lot of fun in there. I do believe Ms. Sheila thinks we're ca-razy. Just one more week and we'll be done! We're going to take the month of June off and pick up course3 in July.
