Get in my belly!: Smothered Meatballs

Smothered Meatballs

You may remember from this post that my friend Treena brought us a hot cooked meal when I was suffering from "cankles". :) I promised to share the recipe, and here it is:

2lb. ground beef
1/3c. chopped bell peppers
1/3c. onion
1 can sliced mushrooms
2 eggs
1 1/2c. Italian style bread crumbs
½ t. salt
¼ t. black pepper

Thoroughly mix all ingredients together. Shape into 1 ½ in. balls. Place on a foil lined and greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375* for 20-30 min. or until browned. While meatballs cook, make gravy.

2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1c. sliced fresh or 1 can sliced mushrooms
1c. sour cream
½ c. milk
1T. browning sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients together in a soup pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Add cooked meatballs. Move bottom meatballs to top until all are well coated. Serve!

If it's any help, I haven't had any dreams {like I did with Raegen, dreaming I was having a boy} and I just don't have that "feeling" with this baby. I did have severe morning sickness that lasted through week 15, quite unlike my mild morning sickness that ended at week 12 with Raegen. That info may help or confuse you more! I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks we're having.
